Autumn is deepening, although the heat returns from time to time. There are lots of fall events planned throughout the weekend. Events that are perfect for an outing are being held this weekend in Asagaya, where our store is located, and in the neighboring town of Koenji.
10/25(Fri) 26(Sat) Asagaya JAZZ STREETS
*Sorry for the late notice!
October 26th (Sat) and 27th (Sun) Koenji Festival
In the summer, many people visit our hometown for the Asagaya Tanabata Festival in early August and the Koenji Awa Odori Festival in late August, but the autumn events are also events that can be enjoyed by yourself, with friends, or with family. Therefore, even if you are not familiar with Asagaya or Koenji, please take this opportunity to come and visit our hometown!
I forgot to update my blog, so the first day of Asagaya Jazz Street was over, but yesterday the sounds of jazz were echoing in the Pearl Center shopping district where our store is located. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Asagaya JAZZ STREETS, which was started in 1995 with the slogan "Make Asagaya a bright and lively town with jazz" and is run by local volunteers! .
Along the 2km north-south Nakasugi Street, everyday living spaces such as station plazas, shrines, churches, elementary and junior high school gymnasiums, corporate lobbies, coffee shops, and restaurants become jazz performance venues. In addition, a Dixieland jazz band parades through the town, and for the past two days, the town of Asagaya has been filled with jazz!
Today is the second day, and the Koenji Festival is tomorrow, so what should we do this weekend? If this sounds like you, why not take a stroll on the Chuo Line?
