Number -SUU- Hannyamen Netsuke / Netsuke *Comes in a special luxury box
The netsuke is a part of ``Hannya Amen'' from ``Ekyodai Awase Kagami'' by Kuniyoshi Utagawa, an ukiyo-e artist who was active at the end of the Edo period.
This ukiyo-e is based on the theme of shadow puppets that can be pasted on the front and back of a folding fan, and when two cats overlap, it looks like the profile of a Hannya.
The cat on the charm part of the netsuke is a faithful reproduction of the ukiyo-e print, right down to the coat.
The netsuke board features a silhouette of a Hannya mask, so you can enjoy looking at it even when you are not wearing it. Enjoy playful coordination by wearing the works of Kuniyoshi Utagawa, who is said to have been a huge cat lover.
Motif size Board: Approximately 53mm in height x Approximately 30mm in width/Cat: Approximately 35mm in height x Approximately 19mm in width
