A collaboration between Enshu cotton tsumugi and Hamamatsu chusen dyeing!
Specifications and Functions
Made in the Enshu region centered around Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, from the Edo period to the present, we have dyed Enshu cotton pongee, which has a distinctive striped pattern, into a border (horizontal stripes) using Hamamatsu Chusen. The dyed borders overlap and the atmosphere changes dramatically, creating an interesting finish.
``Chusen'' is a technique in which pasted fabrics are layered and dyed by pouring dye from front to back. With repeated use, the fabric becomes softer and more comfortable to wear, so please enjoy the changes.

●As this is a hand-dyed tenugui, the color may fade slightly. In particular, if it contains water, the color may transfer to other items, so please wash it by hand before use, separate it from other items, and avoid soaking it in water or using detergents containing optical brighteners. .
●As each piece is handmade by a craftsman, if there is some bleeding, pattern misalignment, uneven coloring, etc., this is not a defective product, so please be aware of this before purchasing. We look forward to the unique taste of hand-dyed dyeing.
