collection: Kitaya Store

While working as a craftsman at a dyeing factory in Hamamatsu City, Kei Morimoto creates original tenugui under the trade name ``Kitaya Shoten'' and exhibits them at craft exhibitions and events around the country. Although Morimoto's works are traditional chusen, many of them are pop and colorful. Tenugui made in collaboration with Ikenuma Ori Kobo Chiori's Enshu Cotton Tsumugi are also popular.

The good old Showa era when tenugui were a part of everyday life... We create our products with the hope that we will not forget that "warmth" even in the Reiwa era, and that as many tenugui as possible can be integrated into our daily lives.
