Shin-Edo Some Marukyu Shoten Long Tenugui
[About long tenugui towels]
``Long Tenugui'' are custom-made towels that are mainly used as props for Japanese dance or greeting items. The fabric used is Tokuoka fabric, which is used for yukata, so it is very flexible and is longer than a typical tenugui. Shin-Edo dyed long tenugui are especially long, so they are approximately 3 shaku and 2 sun (approximately 122 cm x 35 cm). Shin-Edo Some Maruhisa Shoten has continued to make Japanese dance towels as its main business for generations. For this reason, we have a countless variety of paper patterns ranging from various styles to foreign themes, and these custom-made Shin-Edo dyed towels are still patronized by many styles. For ``Long Tenugui'', we offer basic patterns such as ``Mame-shibori'', ``Ichimatsu'', and ``Tazuna'', which are widely used. In addition to Japanese dance, it can also be used for everyday purposes such as wrapping around the head or wrapping slightly larger items as it is longer than a typical tenugui.
