It will be re-released with a new pattern carved in September 2024.​ The atmosphere has changed slightly from the previous model, and the expression has become softer.

 This pattern depicts a ``snow bearer'' whose branches and leaves are covered with snow. The highlight of this pattern is the expression of fine powder snow all over the surface and the simple structure of the branches. You can enjoy the arrangement of the branches as if it were a painting. This ``yukimochi'' was originally created as a pattern for yukata. Did it look cool under the midsummer sun?

[About the reproduction tenugui]

The "Reproduction Tenugui" is a towel originally used for yukata.

Using traditional Ise stencil patterns,

This is a newly reissued item using the Chusen dyeing method as a tenugui towel.

Ise Katagami, designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property,

Not just a pattern for dyeing

The artistic quality of the designs has been highly praised and they have been used as art pieces.
