Japanese sewing x Africanfabric tailoring unit saasaawa spring order event held!
3/19 (Sat) ~ 3/23 (Wed) 12:00 ~ 17:00
We will be holding an order event for saasaawa, a Japanese sewing unit that makes kimonos and obi at Africanfabric, which we announced on stagram, from today, March 19th (Sat) to March 23rd (Wed).
We would like to inform you of the sale of saasaawa half-width belts made from African cloth using traditional Japanese sewing techniques.
In addition to selling half-width sashes that have already been made, we also accept orders from the selection of fabric to the desired length. Choose from 40 to 50 different fabrics currently available in our store.
*Please note that we do not sell fabric only.
Half-width obi order 27,500 including fabric fee (tax included, if there is no hook)
Single layer kimono, including fabric, ¥66,000 (tax included)
Our store uses a small one-room apartment as a store, so reservations are required. You are free to view the exhibits during times without reservations, but we ask that no more than three people enter the store at one time. We also hold Japanese sewing classes in the store on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays during the order event days. We would appreciate it if you could let us know if you are visiting.
We also accept consultations regarding kimono tailoring and repairs.
During this period, one of our two working Japanese seamstresses, sasasasawa, will be in the store, so we will be happy to provide you with a free estimate for alterations to your kimono. Reservations are required, so if you wish, please make a reservation via LINE, email, phone, etc.
